Outreach Reading Enrichment Programs
http://reading.ou.edu
Of all the many things parents do for their children, one very important thing is helping them to develop a love of books and the habit of reading independently for pleasure. The benefits of enjoying reading last a lifetime.
The University of Oklahoma is pleased to offer reading enrichment programs
for fall.. Each program in this series produces a significant boost in reading skill and comprehension, and also helps to stimulate a lifelong interest in reading for pleasure. Parent and student evaluations indicate that these programs are remarkably successful in turning poor readers into good readers and good readers into great readers.
Programs are offered as a community service by University of Oklahoma Outreach, College of Continuing Education, Public and Community Services Division, a nonprofit organization. These popular classes are taught by professional instructors from the Institute of Reading Development.
